Some people believe in talking to their plants because, as they say, plants are living things and it encourages them to grow. But plants don't normally speak back. Moses, wound up having a conversation with a plant, but not because he wanted it to grow. He saw a burning bush and before he realized it, the God of the Universe was speaking to him! Here is Pastor Bill Luebkemann in Exodus chapter three.
