There have been many notable rebellions in world history, some righteous, and some far from it. But no rebel pays so great a price, as the one that chooses to go against God and His people. Today on According to the Scriptures, we find Sheeba leading a great rebellion against David, and he sought to bring a division among God’s people. Though this was no doubt disheartening for David, he was faithful to God’s call, and persevered through this trial. Today we join pastor Damian Kyle in Second Samuel chapter 20, and learn not only the terrible price to be paid for those that choose to rebel as Sheeba did, but also how to respond when jealousy, selfishness, and pride drives your attackers.
