Best of BAM: An Apparent Contradiction Between Gospels, and Q&A Saturday, May 18, 2019
On today’s Bible Answer Man broadcast, Hank shares good news about his health and gives a follow-up on a question he was asked on a previous broadcast about an apparent contradiction between the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. In Matthew’s Gospel, there is an account of Joseph, Mary, and Jesus going to Egypt, while Luke leaves out this account altogether and instead focuses on their return to Nazareth. But as Hank points out, this is not a contradiction but a faulty recounting of events by the caller. Hank also answers the following questions: I feel bad for not attending my parish, but I fear that I will lose what I gained in visiting other churches if I go back. Am I being selfish? How is someone going to tell the difference between the faith that you profess and the faith that my Hindu friend professes? I received a book in the mail titled The Awesome Potential of Man from the Restored Church of God. What is your opinion on it?
