Hey friends! Welcome back to "Reimagining Our Faith"! We are continuing to think about and learn from the 12 disciples of Jesus. Hebrews 12:1-2 says: “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses… let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus.” I am reminded today that across the world—from Rome to India, from Greece to Turkey—various churches claim to hold the earthly remains of the apostles. Whether every claim is historically precise is not really the point, because we do remember that the apostles were real people who walked real roads, carried real burdens, and followed a real Savior. Their bones rest in different nations, but their obedience points to the same Christ.
