In a letter sent to several pastors, an animal-rights group argued that God created animals to “experience pain, fear, sadness, and happiness just as we do”—in effect, they’re not much different from people. The group also said that killing animals for food . . . “is surely the greatest denial of God in human history.” What do you think? The same God who created animals created us, too. Aren’t you somehow disrespecting God—isn’t it somehow wrong—to use His creatures for food?
