Welcome once again to Hope From the Word, with Pastor Bill Luebkemann, from Calvary Chapel of Marlton. Whether you're reading scriptures like Second Kings, or today's newspaper, one thing is for sure, people have a bad habit of turning their back on God and trying to do things their own way. And whether you're talking about three thousand years ago or yesterday, every time they do, the results are disastrous. It was back in the 1960's when a prominent national newspaper boldly proclaimed, “God is Dead”. It wasn't meant to imply that God had actually died, just that He couldn't be found anywhere in society. Would you agree that not much has changed since then?
