Many years ago, Ladies Home Journal posed a question to its readers: “In whom do you trust?” The answers spoke volumes about the state of Christianity in America. Forty percent of the people responding indicated that they trusted newsman Walter Cronkite, Pope John Paul received twenty-six percent of the votes, evangelist Billy Graham grabbed six percent and, sadly, only three percent replied that they placed their trust in God. On today's broadcast, we'll meet a group of men who would've responded to the survey with a resounding one hundred percent vote in favor of trusting God wholeheartedly. This is Hope From the Word with Bill Luebkemann and we're about to wrap up our series through Second Samuel. Here's Pastor Bill now with today's message in Second Samuel, chapter twenty-four.
