Budgeting on a Bi-weekly Paycheck Tuesday, May 21, 2019
Do you get paid every two weeks? You may not realize it, but getting a paycheck every other week gives you an advantage when setting up your budget. If, that is, you plan ahead and make the most of it. Budgeting on a bi-weekly paycheck is our topic today on Moneywise. Rob West and Steve Moore have the pros and cons of bringing home the bacon every two weeks. Next, they answer your questions at (800) 525-7000 and [email protected] about the following:   -I own a business and I’m waiting for the state to release my savings account. They are several months late in returning my money, so I am unable to pay my bills. How should I proceed? -I believe in tithing, but I’m between churches right now. Which should take priority: paying my bills? Or tithing? -I have an HSA account. At what point should I stop putting money in that account and start putting money into a 401(k) or a savings account? -I have two 401(k)s from previous employers. One of them is losing money. Should I combine the two accounts into an IRA?   Be sure to check out our new website at moneywise.org to connect with a MoneyWise Coach or access our books, videos, or any of our free helpful resources.  You can also find us on Facebook.
