Liberty can be defined as the quality or state of being free: the power to do as one pleases: or the power of choice. The Bible tells us, “where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.” Put simply, we as believers have been given freedom. Through the atoning death of Jesus on the cross, and the power of the Spirit of God, we have been set free. We have been made free in Christ from the binding power of the world, the flesh, and the Devil. As Christians, we have been given liberty.
