You might remember a sarcastic phrase from social media a few years back; “The Struggle is Real”. That phrase more or less poked fun at problems or struggles that were somewhat trivial compared to the big picture of life. The truth is, though, that all of us do face real struggles in life.
Ben Cachiaras, the lead minister with Mountain Christian Church, and their 4 campuses located just outside of Baltimore, Maryland is our teacher, this month. Ben is unpacking the reality of life’s struggles and how turning to THE “Shepherd” can make all the difference in the world.
So, most of us are somewhat familiar with the 23rd Psalm. But in today’s message Ben is going to challenge our perspectives. The statement “I shall not want…” can mean many things to many people, but try this on for size, the writer of the 23rd Psalm meant it as a statement of faith.
