Keep His Word before you

“And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” You see, the Word of God was to be kept before them. It was to be written in their homes, on the doorposts and the lintel over the door. It was to be that which they talked about when they ate, when they would lie down at night and probably had a little difficulty getting off to sleep. This is the most amazing statement that so far we’ve considered that the Lord has given.
