The church is not a YMCA. The church is not a pep talk. The church is not a group of families hanging out in some sort of a warm fellowship, that we enjoy until people get in a conflict, and then it’s over. The church is not a concert. The church is not a seminary lecture. The church is not a series of after-school programs and activities to which you can sign up your kids. The church is not an evangelistic crusade. So what is it?
