In this society, surrender is looked upon as a weakness, but God reveals it to be the beginning of great strength! And there's a peace that follows surrendering to God's will as we'll see on today's Hope from the Word. Before we get into the message allow me to set the scene. David is at an extremely low point of his life, and during this time, a virtual nobody begins cursing at him and throwing stones in his direction, for no good reason. But David handles the false accusations and ill-treatment in a godly fashion. And through it all, we receive a brilliant example on how we can have peace in the middle of extreme difficulty.
