Chapter 11 of Daniel begins with a prophecy about the four kings of the Medo-Persian empire who were to come in succession – a prophecy so detailed that liberal scholars discount any possibility that it was written at the time of Daniel. What they refuse to believe is that biblical prophecy is just pre-written history, recorded by God in His Word centuries before these events took place.
