Jesus warned his listeners, "So when you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by the prophet Daniel, standing in the holy place, then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains." This refers to Daniel chapter 11, and as we examine this prophecy in detail we see how the words of both Daniel and Jesus set forth the scope of history as it pertains to God's people.
