The gospel or the good news is designed to bring peace between God and man. Prior to believing and obeying the Gospel, man is at odds with God because we are all sinners and the wages of sin is death. The world is in the condition is it because of sin in the world. But the message of the gospel is that there is a solution for sin - The Blood of Jesus. The good news is for everybody and will bring peace in our lives with God when we obey His word.
