The Honor of Carrying a Burden

The Tabernacle was a portable sanctuary that moved throughout the wilderness. God ordained that different members of the tribe of Levi would transport different parts of the Tabernacle. The members of the family of Kohath had the unique responsibility of carrying the ark of the covenant on staves on their shoulders. We can learn that the closer that you get to God the more you may have to carry for the Lord. It was an honor to be chosen to carry the ark and you had to be chosen. In the New Testament, we learn that we are now the Temple of God and we carry the burden and honor of carrying the Lord to a lost and dying world.Click Here for Slides for this Message
