No Condemnation In Christ - Romans 8:1-4

In this episode, we unpack the powerful truth found in Romans 8:1–4. After describing the struggle with sin in the previous chapter, Paul the Apostle now declares one of the most hope-filled statements in all of Scripture: there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ.Through Jesus Christ, believers are set free from the law of sin and death. What the Law could not accomplish because of human weakness, God accomplished by sending His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to deal with sin once and for all. Because of Christ’s work, the righteous requirement of the Law is fulfilled in those who walk according to the Spirit.Romans 8 begins with the assurance that our standing before God is not based on our performance but on the finished work of Christ.
