Children of God - Romans 8:12-17

In this episode we explore the rich truths of **Epistle to the Romans 8:12–17, where the Apostle Paul describes the incredible privilege of belonging to God’s family. Because of what Christ has done, believers are no longer debtors to the flesh, but are called to live by the Spirit.Paul explains that those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons and daughters of God. Instead of living in fear and bondage, Christians have received the Spirit of adoption, by whom they cry out, “Abba, Father.” This intimate relationship with God is confirmed by the Spirit Himself, who testifies that we are truly His children.Not only are believers children of God, but they are also heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. This passage reminds us of both the privilege and the cost of following Christ, as we share in His sufferings now with the promise of sharing in His glory to come.
