The Glory to Come - Romans 8:18-25
Saturday, April 11, 2026
In this episode we explore the rich and hopeful truths found in **Epistle to the Romans 8:18–25. The Apostle Paul reminds believers that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.Paul expands this vision by describing how all creation has been subjected to frustration and now groans as it waits for redemption. This brokenness we see in the world is not the end of the story—it points forward to a future restoration that God has promised.Believers share in this longing as well. Though we have the firstfruits of the Spirit, we still wait eagerly for our full adoption and the redemption of our bodies. This waiting is not empty or uncertain—it is filled with hope. And as Paul explains, hope that is seen is not hope, but true hope is found in patiently trusting what God has promised but has not yet fully revealed. This passage calls us to endure present suffering with confidence, knowing that a greater glory is coming and that God’s promises will not fail.
